What is a Format Pack
Template Format Pack offer a collection of up to 4 Templates in different resolutions, all sharing the same look.
Consistent Project Settings and Placeholders
Uniformity in Design: Each Template within a Format Pack maintains the same Project Settings and Placeholder group structures, with identical naming conventions.
Seamless Customization Transfer: This consistency allows for effortless copying of user customizations and text values between Templates in the same Pack to quickly change the format.

Enhanced User Experience
Preview Benefits: Users can preview how their customizations translate across different formats within the Pack, providing a clear idea of the final output.
Comprehensive Customization: This feature includes the transfer of project settings, placeholder values, and fonts, ensuring a thorough and consistent application of user preferences.
Template Creation Flexibility
Single After Effects Project File: Authors can create multiple Templates within a single After Effects project file, using different Render Comps for each Template.
Multiple After Effects Project Files: Authors may opt for multiple After Effects project files (*.aeps), each with a distinct single Render Comp.
Consistency Is Key: It's crucial to ensure that project settings and placeholders retain the same names across these files.

How to upload a Format Pack
Format Packs are uploaded in the same way as individual Templates but you need to upload 1 by 1.
Templater
Using Templater extension, template every project in the pack and export them as .zip files.

Submit first template
Submit the first template in the pack as you would normally submit a template.
If you already have an approved template just skip to the Submit other templates in the pack step.
Debug & Clean Up
Just like with individual templates, you need to debug and clean up your template pack submitting it. Head over to topics below to learn more about debugging and cleaning up your template pack.
Create Themes Now! Because we have the same structure in all of the templates, the backend can easity duplicate themes from your first template to all other templates in the pack. This will save you a lot of time and effort.
Once you are done with the debugging and cleaning up, click Submit for Review button in the top right.

Submit other templates in the pack
The only thing we need to do for other templates in the pack is to choose from which template we want to duplicate themes and groups. Click on the Select a Template button in the bottom left on the Submit page. Click Open Browser when asked. This will open up your list of templates waiting to be approved. Make sure you set the filter to Submitted if your template is not Approved. Set to Approved it is. Find your first uploaded template and click select below it. Now just click Submit template and wait for everything to render. If you did everything correct, the new template will have the same Editor Groups and Themes!
